Understanding Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF-1) plexiform neurofibromas (PN) – with a real patient case.

Ross Mangum, MD, is the co-director of the Neurofibromatosis Program at Phoenix
Children's Hospital. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology
and possesses clinical expertise in neuro-oncology. He is also a member of the American
Academy of Pediatrics, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, the
American Society of Hematology and the Children's Oncology Group. His primary focus is
caring for children with cancer of the brain or spinal cord. In addition, Dr Mangum has
clinical interests in neurofibromatosis (NF), NF-related tumors, and cancer predisposition
syndromes.
