Join your Illinois NAPNAP Chapter for an educational winter brunch at The Gage in Chicago on Saturday, January 31st. We will have registration at 12:00pm and our program will begin at 12:30pm . We will have two speakers. Our first will focus on Full Practice Authority for Nurse Practitioners and our second speaker will discuss Pediatric Diabetes.
Cost: This event is free to all active members. Non members and/or students can purchase tickets.
NAPNAP National Conference Registration Raffle - You will receive a raffle entry each time that you attend a Continuing Education event in 2025 or participate in APN week activities. Each raffle entry earns you a chance to be entered into the drawing to have your 2025 National Conference Registration Fees covered. The winner will be announced during APN week 2025!

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included with registration. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
Parking: Street parking is available. You can also find available garage parking via Spothero.
If you are no longer able to attend the event, please cancel your registration by emailing napnapilchapter@gmail.com at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Failure to do so will result in a $15 fee and may impact your ability to register for future NAPNAP events. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us manage event logistics and ensure fair access for all participants.
Speakers
Works as Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist at Children's Wisconsin
Kristen Klocker is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she earned a Bachelors in Nursing. After graduation, Kristen spent 12 years working for Alexian Brothers Medical Center in their special care nursery and postpartum. She also worked for Pediatric Urology Partners after graduation where she gained experience in the outpatient pediatric setting. It was while working that she decided to return back to school at Rush University to earn a Masters in Nursing in 2009. Kristen is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is an adjunct clinical faculty member at Rush University and regularly precepts students in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. Kristen enjoys working with families and children to provide evidence-based care in a family centered environment. She values the importance of establishing relationships with the families she sees. Her special interests include newborn care, asthma, allergies, and mental health. As a mother of twins, she shares a special bond with mothers of multiples. She is a certified COPE Instructor, a program for building cognitive behavioral skills
